我也想要OLPC啊

剛剛看見Ethan Zuckerman在他的blog上談到他最想要的聖誕禮物：

Ethan認為這台機器做的很不賴，唯一需要改進的就是操作系統的介面有點遲緩，本來他以為是處理器不夠力，但是事實上卻可以拿來玩遊戲，而且...挺順手的樣子！(Wenli想不想入手啊)：


OLPC(這只是其中一個名字)由台灣的廣達代工，根據聯合理財網的資料指出，今年(2006)廣達的出貨量下跌，為台灣五大NB代工廠中表現最不好的，不過由於搶到了2007年不少國外訂單，後勢看好，650萬台的OLPC將於明年開始出貨到巴西、奈及利亞、阿根廷、利比亞等國家，本來泰國也有下單，不過政變之後就改變心意了。

前天董福興在google talk上丟了一個網址給我，要我看新的OLPC長什麼樣，他說新的OLPC把手搖發電桿給取消了，這樣不夠勁，的確，在Ethan這篇文章裡頭的照片也沒有手搖桿，看樣子已經成定局。

我開始想像Engadget上登出某狂人跑去利比亞，用管道取得一台OLPC然後當著小孩子面前砸爛的影片...有點辛酸...
