尼泊爾的公民新聞動向

這篇文章是作者論文的一部分濃縮，作者在本文中先大致介紹公民新聞，接著再將重點放在尼泊爾脈絡下的公民新聞發展現況。(該跟這篇文章的作者認識一下，畢竟擁有同樣的身份，做著同樣的事)

Citizen Journalism in Nepal - OhmyNews International

It really took off in Nepal after the Feb. 1, 2005, move by the monarchy to impose media censorship, restraining the mainstream media from disseminating objective information. Aryal (2005) states that blogging in Nepal took off after February 2005 as a means both to bypass official censorship and to protest against it, graduating from personal, sometimes self-indulgent observations to an important vehicle for free speech.

Well...

1. 之前在菲律賓參加FEAC時，就認識了來自馬來西亞公民新聞網站Malaysiakini跟來自尼泊爾的United We Blog!的朋友，儘管後來沒有機會合作，但是我認為時機越來越成熟，應該開始把握交流的機會(台灣應該是學習)。

2. 這篇文章還另外提到尼泊爾另外兩個公民新聞網站，分別是做的很像紐約時報.com的Citizen Journalism Nepal，以及Everest Uncensored，有待研究。

3. 感想就是：得先具備想要真正做出改變的公民，才會有公民新聞大規模實踐的可能。只可惜台灣的自主公民進場跟退場速度之快，跟跑龍套的差不多。

4. 不管怎樣，三不五時來地球男孩的世界拜一下準沒錯。

最近號召發起興辦一份「全民記者網路報」之際，在許多識與不識的朋友的加油打氣聲中，「Let's roll！」跟「하면된다」這兩句話，又不斷在耳邊響起。許多人在留言中，加油祝福聲不斷，並鼓勵「要馬上行動，而且一定要成功」。這些鼓勵，也來自我的老師與學生，可見對惡質媒體的反撲，已經是不分年齡、不分族群、不分畛域了。
