Bloggers can register for the awards during November with voting from 1-20 December. There is an overall award for the best blog and awards for eight different categories.
This year a new feature has been added to the awards. As well as popular online voting, there will also be peer-judged awards. These will be judged by a team of leading Taiwan bloggers.
"I hope the awards can bring more attention to the many great blogs about Taiwan. These blogs provide a unique window on Taiwan life," said David Reid one of the coordinators of the awards.
Taiwanderful is a community website managed by David Reid and Gilad Feldman. David is the author of the popular Taiwan blog, David on Formosa (http://blog.taiwan-guide.org/). Gilad, based in Hong Kong, blogs about Asia at Fili's World (http://www.filination.com/blog/).
